The YINA project – Youth Innovation Academy – is a functional framework created by the Association to successfully implement and materialize its actions with secondary school students.
The choice of this age group is perfectly aligned with one of AFED’s main motivations, which is to provide support that intervenes as early as possible in the intellectual development of young people. For the promoters of AFED, secondary education is a crucial stage in the formation of young individuals.
It is a key moment in their intellectual life, where they make the majority of their future choices.
Through the YINA project, AFED aims to provide Cameroonian youth with the necessary tools to become aware of their potential and the world of opportunities available to them with the explosion of technological tools. Furthermore, it aims to ensure that their future initiatives lead to concrete solutions for Cameroon while aligning with the skill standards of youth in developed countries.
